Rick Menell is Chairman Credit Suisse South Africa.

Rick Menell is Chairman Credit Suisse South Africa. He is a 35-year veteran of the mining industry, heading Anglovaal Mining and Teal Exploration & Mining up to 2008. He previously served as President of the South African Chamber of Mines, as Chairman of the South African Tourism Board and on numerous boards as Director, Deputy Chair or Chairman, including Telkom SA, Standard Bank Group, Harmony Gold, Bateman Engineering, ARM, Arvgold and the Business Trust. Menell also serves as a Senior Advisor, as a council member of Business Leadership South Africa and as a Governor in the mining industry group of the World Economic Forum.
